Wishing to develop and strengthen the relations of friendship, mutual understanding and mutual trust between the people of two states;

being guided by the Protocol between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan of November 1, 1995;

agreed as follows:

1. Bilateral consultations

Hold regular consultations at the level of deputy ministers of foreign affairs, and also heads of structural divisions in the following directions:

- on expansion and deepening of bilateral cooperation in political, trade and economic, scientific and technical and cultural humanitarian areas;

- on enhancement of the contractual legal base of the bilateral relations and observation of the course of its realization;

- on delimitation of the Kazakhstan-Kyrgyz frontier;

- concerning cooperation within EurAsEC, TsAES, the Commonwealth of Independent States and "The Shanghai five";

- concerning ensuring the international and regional security, including in the context of settlement of situation in Afghanistan, fight against manifestations of the international terrorism, religious extremism, and also drug trafficking, psychotropic substances and weapon;

- concerning forming in Central Asia zones, free from nuclear weapon (TsAZSYaO);

- on migration problems;

- on interaction in the international and regional organizations.

As agreed by the parties also other consultations and working meetings, in particular, on questions can be held:

- interactions through consular services;

- activities of services of diplomatic service;

- cooperation of archive agencies;

- cooperation in the information sphere.
