The government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Russian Federation which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

agreed as follows:

Article 1

For the purposes of this agreement the specified terms mean:

"authorized body of the Kyrgyz Side" - the Ministry of Defence of the Kyrgyz Republic;

"authorized body of the Russian Side" - the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation;

"polygon" - the equipped site of the territory of the earth (water area) of the Russian Federation with airspace over it intended for conducting exercises aviation and antiaircraft rocket (antiaircraft artillery) parts with fighting firing practice;

"the polygon equipment" - the command post of polygon with means of radar-location, communication and objective control, line item for placement of arms and military equipment and target complexes;

"arms and military equipment" - antiaircraft rocket (antiaircraft artillery) and radar complexes, automated control systems, the polygon means of communication transferred to temporary use to combat crews of military units and divisions of troops of air defense of the Ministry of Defence of the Kyrgyz Republic for carrying out fighting firing practice and also the separate means of air defense delivered by military units and divisions of troops of air defense of the Ministry of Defence of the Kyrgyz Republic to polygon;
