The State Parties of this agreement on behalf of the governments, further - the Parties,

understanding special importance and need of the state care about health of the military personnel and members of their families,

in view of features of the developed infrastructure and profilnost of sanatorium organizations of the Ministries of Defence,

aiming to provide comprehensiveness and quality of sanatorium treatment and organized rest of the military personnel and members of their families,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

For the purposes of this agreement the stated below terms mean:

"the state of the Commonwealth" - the state entering the Commonwealth of Independent States and being the participant of this agreement;

"sending party" - the state of the Commonwealth on behalf of its Ministry of Defence which directed military personnel or members of their families to sanatorium treatment and organized rest to other state of the Commonwealth;

"host party" - the state of the Commonwealth on behalf of its Ministry of Defence providing sanatorium treatment and organized rest by the serviceman and to members of their families of other state of the Commonwealth;

"sanatorium organizations" - sanatoria, rest houses, boarding houses, children's improving the camp and the tourist bases of the Ministries of Defence of the State Parties of the Commonwealth performing sanatorium treatment and organized rest of the military personnel and members of their families.

Article 2

The parties recognize reasonable the conclusion of bilateral or multi-lateral agreements between their Ministries of Defence about acquisition of permits in sanatorium organizations for the military personnel and members of their families.

According to the appeal of the Ministries of Defence the Headquarters on coordination of military state cooperation - members of the Commonwealth of Independent States can take part in preparation of the specified agreements.
