About procedure for the room under customs regime of temporary import of the vehicles which are not registered in the Republic of Moldova

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. 1. - In departure from provisions of parts (1) and (3) Article 184-1 of the Customs code of the Republic of Moldova No. 1149-XIV of July 20, 2000 and part (3-2) articles 10 of the Law on procedure for import into the Republic of Moldova and export from its territory of property by physical persons No. 1569-XV of December 20, 2002 the vehicles which are not registered in the Republic of Moldova irrespective of the term of their operation can be imported on the territory of the country till December 31, 2011 inclusive only in case of their declaring by action and placements under customs regime of temporary import for the period up to 90 days with observance of the following conditions:

a) the vehicle stays on the permanent registry in other state;

b) vehicles of physical resident persons are in their property or use that is supported by the relevant documents; physical persons - nonresidents are owners of vehicles and temporarily live in the Republic of Moldova that is supported by the relevant documents;

c) vehicles shall be exported from the territory of the Republic of Moldova before the expiration provided according to customs regime of temporary import;

d) vehicles will not be used for transportation of goods and passengers;

e) if other mode of stay in the territory of the Republic of Moldova is provided to physical nonresident persons, supporting documents are submitted to customs authority for prolongation of term of finding of the vehicle in customs regime of temporary import, with entering of the relevant information into the State register of transport.

Art. 2. - To the government till November 1, 2011 to provide to Parliament of the offer on the solution of question of the vehicles which are not registered in the Republic of Moldova.
