The government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Russian Federation which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

being guided by the Treaty of friendship, cooperation and mutual aid between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation of June 10, 1992,

aiming to provide favorable conditions for development of military and technical cooperation,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties will promote development of military and technical cooperation in the following directions:

supply activity of military products;

ensuring operation, repair and upgrade of the delivered military products, and also rendering other services of military and technical appointment;

sale of licenses for the arms production and military equipment and rendering technical assistance in the organization of their production;

rendering services in creation of military objects;

preparation of military personnel and technicians;

carrying out joint research and development works;

other directions of military and technical cooperation in which the Parties will show mutual interest.

Article 2

The nomenclature and supply rates of military products, condition and procedure of payments will be determined by these deliveries in the contracts and other contractual documents concluded by authorized organizations of the Parties according to the legislation of each of the countries.

Article 3

Authorized bodies of the Parties on accomplishment of provisions of this agreement are:

from the Kyrgyz Side - the Ministry of Foreign Trade and the industries of the Kyrgyz Republic;

from the Russian Side - the Ministry of Trade of the Russian Federation.
