The governments of the State Parties of this agreement which further are referred to as the Party

being guided by desire to establish cooperation in the field of veterinary science for the purpose of prevention of spread of infectious diseases of animals and mutual protection of the territories from epizooty,

proceeding from interests of favorable development of economic and commercial intercourses between the states,

agreed as follows:

Article 1.

The parties will perform cooperation in the field of veterinary science and to take necessary measures for prevention of spread of infectious diseases of animals from the territory of one Party in the territory of other Parties when transporting all types of loads under control to veterinary supervision by all modes of transport.

Article 2.

For implementation of provisions of this agreement as competent authorities of the Party authorize the central public veterinary services.

For coordination of cooperation of the Party will create Council for cooperation in the field of veterinary science as a part of heads of veterinary services of the states which governments are participants of this agreement.

Article 3.

In the work the Parties agreed to be guided by the legislation, instructions, provisions, and also other regulating documents of the former USSR for veterinary services of the Parties if they do not contradict the laws of the states which governments are participants of this agreement.

Article 4.

Provisions of this agreement are applied in the relation:

a) animal all types (including birds, fur animals, laboratory, zoo and pets, sea animals, bees, fishes and other aquatic organisms, embryos and sperm of animals, the impregnated caviar);

b) animal products (meat and meat products, milk and dairy products, fish, eggs, beekeeping products);

c) raw materials of animal origin (skins, wool, furs, down, feather, endocrine and intestinal raw materials, blood, bones and other types of raw materials);

d) forages for animals;
