About introduction of amendments to the Code of Ukraine about administrative offenses concerning strengthening of responsibility for violation of procedure for installation and use of special light or sound signaling devices

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

1. Bring in the Code of Ukraine about administrative offenses (Sheets of the Supreme Council of USSR, 1984, appendix to No. 51, the Art. 1122) such changes:

Article 122-5 to state 1) in such edition:

"Article 122-5. Violation of requirements of the legislation concerning installation and use of special light or sound signaling devices

Violation of requirements of the legislation concerning installation and use on the vehicle of special light or sound signaling devices

involves imposing of penalty from two thousand five hundred to three thousand tax-free minima of the income of citizens with confiscation of special light or sound signaling devices.

Note. It is necessary to understand the light device which has the variable frequency of light impulses and which is allowed to be established only on operational or special vehicles as the special light signaling device.

It is necessary to understand the sound device which has variable main frequency (except for the security alarm system) as the special sound signaling device and it is allowed to establish only on operational vehicles";

2) in Article 265-2:

to add part one after figures "121-1" with figures "122-5";

the second after words of "its survey" to add part with the words "or before dismantle of special light or sound signaling devices".

2. This Law becomes effective in month from the date of its publication.
