About immediate social compensations
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
The purpose of this law is support of needy persons during the period from January 1 to March 31, 2011 by provision of immediate social compensation.
The concept "immediate social compensation" used in this law means the sum of money paid from January 1 till March 31, 2011 to persons receiving pensions or social benefits.
Operation of this law extends to the citizens of the Republic of Moldova, foreign citizens, stateless persons and refugees having the permanent residence in the Republic of Moldova according to the legislation.
(1) Immediate social compensation is provided to receivers of the pensions established according to the national legal system or the social benefits established according to the Law on the public social benefits to some categories of citizens No. 499-XIV of July 14, 1999 which extent constitutes up to 900 lei.
(2) According to part (1) immediate social compensation is provided to each person separately.
(3) Immediate social compensation is not provided to persons:
a) having nationality of the Republic of Moldova, but not having the permanent residence in its territory;
b) being on the state providing.
The amount of immediate social compensation is established by the Government.
