1. These rules establish procedure for medical examination of the minor concerning which preliminary inquiry on criminal case about crime of average weight or serious crime is made, except for for the crimes specified in part five of article 92 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (further - the minor), for consideration by court of question of possibility of release of the minor from punishment and the direction it in special teaching and educational facility of the closed type of governing body of education according to part two of article 92 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (further - medical examination).
Medical examination is carried out for the purpose of establishment at minor availability or absence of the disease included in the list of the diseases interfering content and training of minors in special teaching and educational facilities of the closed type of governing bodies of education, approved by the order of the Government of the Russian Federation of July 11, 2002 N 518.
