About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About the State forecasts, concepts, strategy and programs of social and economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan"

Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan of December 8, 2003 "About the state forecasts, concepts, strategy and programs of social and economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan" (Akhbori of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, 2003, No. 12, Art. 681; 2009, No. 3, Art. 87) following changes and amendments:

1. Add Article 1 with the paragraph the sixth the following content:

"Article 9. Forecasts of regional development

Forecasts of regional development of the Republic of Tajikistan represent evidence-based hypothesis of social and economic development of regions in the probable future. Forecasts of social and economic development of regions are developed by local executive bodies of the government and affirm the relevant local representative bodies of the government.

The government of the Republic of Tajikistan together with local authorities of the government provides:

- development of methodical recommendations about forecasting of social and economic development of regions;

- assessment of conformity of the developed regional forecasts to parameters of the state forecast of social and economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan in case of development of the final draft of the forecast of socially economic development of the region by local authorities of the government.
