About additional education

This Law determines state policy, organization-legal and social and financial bases in the field of additional education.

Chapter 1. General provisions

Article 1. Basic concepts

In this Law the following basic concepts are used:

- additional education - training system and education, performed on the basis of programs of additional education, directed to studying of modern science, the equipment and technology, creativity, receipt of new specialty, retraining, qualification enhancement which person can receive during study at school, after leaving school and after receipt of the diploma free of charge or for a fee in educational and professional institutions out of the main educational programs or in educational institutions of additional education without restriction;

- educational institutions of additional education - the public and private educational institutions which activities are directed to forming of knowledge, abilities, capabilities, skills, and also intellectual, moral and physical development of students;

- pedagogical workers - the persons having professional education, who are engaged in training and education of students in educational institutions of additional education;

- students - persons involved by educational institutions of additional education in different forms of education taking into account knowledge, capabilities, abilities, skills and tendencies.

Article 2. Legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan on additional education

The legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan on additional education is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan and consists of this Law, other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Tajikistan, and also the international legal acts recognized by Tajikistan.
