About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About self-government institutions of settlements and villages"

Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan of August 5, 2009 "About self-government institutions of settlements and villages" (Akhbori of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, 2009, Art. No. 7-8, 503) the following changes and amendments:

1. In paragraph four of Article 1 of the word "within powers" to replace with the word "competences".

2. In Article 6:

- 1 after words "the rights of citizens on" to add part with the word "local";

- regarding 2 words "municipalities of domicile" shall be replaced with words "self-government institutions of settlements and villages".

3. Regarding 1 Article 9 the word "meeting" to replace with the word "meeting".

4. Article 10 in paragraph nine to replace the word of "powers" with the word "competences".

5. In paragraph five of Article 11 of the word of "small enterprises" shall be replaced with words "utility and other companies".

6. In Article 15:

- regarding 3 words "body it is exempted from office (functional) activities" shall be replaced with words "bodies it is exempted from execution of service (functional) duties with preserving the salary";

- to exclude from part 4 of the word "according to Dzhamoat's decision";

- add Article with part 5 of the following content:

"5. The question of early termination of powers of the deputy Dzhamoat is considered by Dzhamoat's meeting and is accepted by the resolution of meeting of Dzhamoat with assistance of at least two thirds of voices of total number of deputies of Dzhamoat.".

7. In Article 17:

- to exclude from part 1 of the word "within the powers";

- in paragraph six of part of 1 word of "local self-government" shall be replaced with words "self-government of settlements and villages";
