About modification and amendments in some legal acts

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Law on tobacco and tobacco products No. 278-XVI of December 14, 2007 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2008, No. 47-48, of the Art. 139), with subsequent changes, to make the following additions:

1. Add Article 15 with parts (4) and (5) the following content:

"(4) the Trade enterprises performing retail trade by tobacco products shall:

a) hang out in a visible place information on prohibition of sale of tobacco products to persons under 18;

b) hang out information on the size of the penalty imposed for non-compliance with regulations on prohibition of sale of tobacco products to persons under 18.

(5) to be convinced that person buying tobacco products reached 18 summer age dealers (sellers) shall demand from the buyer to show the identity certificate or other official document supplied with the photo confirming it age. In case of refusal the buyer to show the identity certificate the dealer (seller) has no right to sell it tobacco products.".

2. Add the law with Article of 161 following contents:

"Article 161. Restriction of smoking in private places

Smoking in the private rooms open for public access, and in the private vehicles transporting minors is forbidden.".

Art. II. - In article 30 of the Law on production and turnover of ethyl alcohol and alcoholic products No. 1100-XIV of June 30, 2000 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2010, No. 98-99, of the Art. 293), with subsequent changes to make the following changes and additions:
