About private medical activities
This Law determines general legal, economic and social basis of creation and functioning of subjects of private medical activities, regulates their rights and obligations in implementation of this type of activity.
In this Law the following basic concepts are used:
- subjects of private medical activities - the private medical organizations performing the private medical activities and physical persons practising private medicine;
- private medical activities - activities of legal entities and physical persons for rendering to the population medical care and services according to agreements in the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan;
- private medical practice - activities for delivery of health care by persons having the higher or secondary medical education without creation of the legal entity according to specialty based on the granted license in the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan;
- the private medical organization - the medical organization which property is the private property or property used based on the lease agreement;
- medical care - prevention and diagnosis of diseases, poisonings, injuries, treatment and rehabilitation of patients, pregnancy observation, acceptance of childbirth and observation of the postnatal period;
- medical attendance - the paid medical care provided by certain type of disease and in certain amount according to the agreement;
- standards of medical care - the list of requirements to regulations, rules and features of certain type of medical care, to its results;
