About the status of diplomatic representations of Turkmenistan abroad

Article 1.

The diplomatic representation of Turkmenistan is abroad created for maintenance of the official interstate relations with the state of stay, representation and protection of the rights and interests of Turkmenistan and its citizens.

Article 2.

Diplomatic representations of Turkmenistan are created by the Presidential decree of Turkmenistan.

The preliminary arrangement on it is established on the basis of bilateral interstate agreements, agreements and protocols.

Diplomatic representations of Turkmenistan stop the activities based on the Presidential decree of Turkmenistan.

Article 3.

Diplomatic representations of Turkmenistan in the activities are guided by the Constitution of Turkmenistan, this Law, other acts of the legislation of Turkmenistan, the universally recognized norms of international law and international treaties which participants is Turkmenistan.

Article 4.

Diplomatic representations of Turkmenistan are a part of the system of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and are accountable to it in the activities.
