Procedure for assignment of the status of the central depositary

1. This Procedure is developed according to the Federal Law of December 7, 2011 N 414-FZ "About the central depositary" (The Russian Federation Code, 2011, N 50, the Art. 7356) and determines procedure for assignment by the Federal Service for Financial Markets (further - FFMS of Russia) the status of the central depositary.

2. FFMS of Russia makes the decision on assignment of the status of the central depositary only to the legal entity (further - the job seeker) who conforms to the following requirements:

1) is the joint-stock company created in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation;

2) is non-bank credit institution;

3) has the license for implementation of depository activity in the security market;

4) at the time of filing of application about assignment of the status of the central depositary the job seeker (his right predecessor) performed at least three years functions of settlement depositary;

5) the size of own means of the job seeker constitutes at least four billion rubles.

3. For receipt of the status of the central depositary the job seeker represents to FFMS of Russia:
