The government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of Turkmenistan which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

in view of importance of development of geodesy and cartography for social and economic development of the countries,

wishing to create the legal basis for cooperation in the field of geodesy, cartography, remote sensing of Earth that will promote use of results of such cooperation for economic and social benefit of the states of the Parties,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

On the basis of this agreement of the Party agreed to perform cooperation in the field of geodesy, cartography, remote sensing of Earth.

The cooperation provided by this agreement will be performed in the following directions:

exchange of scientific and technical and production information;

implementation of joint research, experimental and production operations;

carrying out the joint space shootings necessary for both Parties, and data exchange of remote sensing of Earth;

preparation and advanced training of personnel for performance of works on geodesy, cartography, remote sensing of Earth;

exchange on the basis of bilateral agreements initial geodetic, cartographic materials and materials of space shootings on territorial accessory, except for the materials which are the state secret of the states of the Parties;

joint development of standards for certification and metrological support of geodetic and photogrammetric tools, devices and other equipment for the purpose of increase in efficiency and reliability of land production;

other directions of cooperation which will be acknowledged the Parties reasonable.

Article 2

The cooperation will be performed in the following forms:

development and implementation of joint programs and projects in the directions specified in Article 1 of this agreement;

holding meetings, conferences, symposiums, seminars and consultations;

publication of joint reports, Articles and monographs;
