1. These rules of conducting the state monitoring of the woods (further - Rules) are developed according to subitem 17-12) of Article 12 of the Forest code of the Republic of Kazakhstan of July 8, 2003 and establish procedure for conducting the state monitoring of the woods.
2. The state monitoring of the woods represents system of observations, assessment and the forecast of condition and dynamics of forest fund for the purpose of public administration in the field of protection, protection of forest fund and reproduction of the woods, use of forest fund, preserving biological diversity and ecological functions of the woods.
3. Conducting the state monitoring of the woods is performed on single system in all territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan by the state forest management organization according to these rules.
