About protection and rational use of flora

SECTION I. GENERAL PROVISIONS

Article 1. Legislation of Turkmenistan on protection and rational use of flora

The legislation of Turkmenistan on protection and rational use of flora consists of this Law and other acts of the legislation of Turkmenistan adopted according to it.

The land, forest, water, mountain relations, the relations on conservation, atmospheric air, on protection and use of fauna in natural vegetable communities, the relations on protection and use agricultural and others cultural, plants are regulated by the special legislation of Turkmenistan.

Article 2. Objects of flora and their category

1. The following objects of flora are subject to protection and rational use:

wild-growing higher and lowest plants and mushrooms in all their specific variety;

the natural vegetable communities formed by the listed above wild-growing vegetable organisms;

fruits, seeds, parts and other products of wild-growing higher and lowest plants and mushrooms;

all plants and vegetable communities, irrespective of their origin, in the territories of national parks, wildlife areas (except for hunting), nature sanctuaries, botanical gardens and in other especially protected natural territories.
