Rules of monitoring and control of inventory count of greenhouse gases

1. General provisions

1. These rules of monitoring and control of inventory count of greenhouse gases (dalee-Pravila) are developed according to the subitem 7) of article 16 of the Ecological code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and determine procedure for monitoring and control of inventory count of greenhouse gases.

2. Action of these rules extends to subjects of distribution of quotas for emissions of greenhouse gases.

3. In these rules the following concepts are used:

1) uncertainty (error) - the parameter associated with result of quantitative determination which characterizes dispersion of the values relating to quantity;

2) the operator of installation - the legal entity, or in legal use of which in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan is in property installation which functioning provides emissions of greenhouse gases (further - the operator);
