Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Belarus of May 22, 2000 "About social servicing" (The national register of legal acts of the Republic of Belarus, 2000, No. 50, 2/170; 2006, No. 107, 2/1235) of change and amendments, having been reworded as follows it:

CHAPTER 1 GENERAL PROVISIONS
Article 1. The main terms applied in this Law and their determinations
For the purposes of this Law the following main terms and their determinations are applied:
the state social order - the mechanism of involvement of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs to rendering social services and implementation of social projects;
difficult life situation - the circumstance (set of circumstances) which is objectively breaking normal life activity of the citizen whose effects he is not able to overcome at the expense of own means and the available opportunities;
social servicing - activities for the organization and rendering social services, assistance of activation of own efforts of citizens for the prevention, overcoming difficult life situation and (or) adaptation to it;
the social project - the project directed to creation of conditions for the solution of social problems of the citizens who are in difficult life situation;
social service - actions for rendering the help to the citizen for the purpose of assistance in the prevention, overcoming difficult life situation and (or) adaptation to it.
Article 2. Coverage of this Law
This Law governs the public relations arising under the organization and rendering social services. Operation of this Law extends to citizens of the Republic of Belarus, foreign citizens and stateless persons (further if other is not established, - citizens), and also to the legal entities and individual entrepreneurs performing social servicing.
