About the museums and Museum fund

CHAPTER 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

Article 1. Basic concepts

In this Law the following basic concepts are used:

- the museum - non-commercial cultural institution which is created for the purpose of identification, registration, classification, restoration, storage, research and public exposure of objects and historical cultural collections;

- historical and cultural value - the museum objects having universal, historical, scientific and art and cultural value, collected and which are stored in the state, non-state museums and personal collections;

- purchase of museum objects and museum collections - one of fixed assets of collection, storage and safety of museum objects and museum collections;
