About modification of Traffic regulations

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides:

Bring in the Traffic regulations approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of October 10, 2001 No. 1306 (The Official Bulletin of Ukraine, 2001, No. 41, Art. 1852; 2005, No. 2, Art. 86; 2007, No. 14, Art. 522, No. 48, Art. 1978; 2008, No. 52, Art. 1740, No. 75, Art. 2526; 2009, No. 11, Art. 321, No. 14, Art. 420, No. 31, Art. 1053, No. 68, Art. 2350; 2011, No. 30, the Art. 1310, No. 78, the Art. 2881), changes which are applied.

Changes which are made to Traffic regulations

1. State Item 12.10 in such edition:

"12:10. Additional restrictions of the permitted speed of movement can be introduced temporarily and constantly.

At the same time together with speed limit signs of movement 3.29 and/or 3.31 the corresponding route signs which warn about nature of danger and/or approach to the corresponding object are surely in addition established.

In case when route signs of speed limit of movement 3.29 and/or 3.31 are established with violation of the requirements determined by these Rules concerning their introduction or with violation of requirements of national standards or left after elimination of circumstances under which they were established, the driver cannot be made responsible according to the legislation for exceeding of posted speed limits of movement.".

2. Add Rules with Items 12.10-1 and 12.10-2 of such content:

"12.10-1. Restrictions of the permitted movement speed (route signs 3.29 and/or 3.31 on yellow background) are entered temporarily only:

a) in places of accomplishment of roadwork;

b) in venues of mass or special events;

c) in the cases connected with the spontaneous (weather) phenomena.

12.10-2. Restrictions of the permitted speed of movement are introduced constantly only:
