About modification and amendments in some legal acts
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
This law creates necessary basis for application of the Directive No. 85/374/EEC of July 25, 1985 on rapprochement of the laws, regulations and administrative acts of the state members of EEC concerning the responsibility for release of the defective products published in the Official magazine of the European Community (JOCE) No. L210 of August 7, 1985, changed and added with the Directive No. 1999/34/EC of the European Parliament and Council published in the Official magazine of the European Community (JOCE) No. L141 of June 4, 1999.
Art. I. - In paragraph one of article 22 of the Law on Archive fund of the Republic of Moldova No. 880-XII of January 22, 1992 (The monitor of Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, 1992, No. 1, the Art. 20), with subsequent changes, words "The main state inspectorate for supervision of the market, metrology and consumer protection" shall be replaced with words "Consumer protection agency".
Art. II. - In the Law on metrology No. 647-XIII of November 17, 1995 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, special release of April 15, 2008), with subsequent changes to make the following changes:
1. In all text of the law of the word "Metrological Inspection" shall be replaced with words "Consumer protection agency" in the corresponding case.
2. In the prolog of part (8) Article 2 the word is "subordinated" to be replaced with the word "subordinated".
Art. III. - In the Civil code of the Republic of Moldova No. 1107-XV of June 6, 2002 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2002, No. 82-86, of the Art. 661), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes and additions:
1. In the name of part 2 of Chapter XXXIV and in the name of Article 1425 of the word "products with shortcomings" shall be replaced with words "products with defects".
2. In Article 1426:
