About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About the National Bank of Ukraine" concerning protection of values and objects of the National Bank of Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

І. Bring in the Law of Ukraine "About the National Bank of Ukraine" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1999, No. 29, Art. 238; 2000, No. 42, Art. 351; 2002, No. 17, Art. 117; 2009, No. 52, Art. 763; 2010, No. 49, Art. 570) such changes:

1. To add Article 1 after determination of the term "official exchange rate" with determination of such content:

"protection of values and objects - the organization and practical implementation by National Bank of measures of protection of rather certain and belonging to it buildings, constructions, the territories, vehicles, currency values, securities and other personal and real estate directed to non-admission or the termination of illegal actions concerning them, ensuring their immunity and integrity, the termination of unauthorized access to them of the third parties and also on ensuring personal security, life and health of employees of National Bank".

2. The fourth Article 22 to state part in such edition:

"For transportation of values, protection of values and the objects belonging to it the National Bank has the departmental protection armed with fighting firearms. Departmental protection within the powers conferred by this Law has the right to apply measures of physical influence, special instruments of defense and fighting firearms according to the procedure, stipulated in Article 12, Article part one 13, part one Items 1 and 3, parts two and third Article 14, Items 2, of 3, 5 and 6 parts one, parts two and third Article 15, article 15-1 of the Law of Ukraine "About militia".

II. Final provisions

1. This Law becomes effective from the date of, its publication following behind day.

To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine within three months from the date of the introduction in operation of this Law to develop and bring into accord with this Law the regulatory legal acts, to provide development and acceptance by the ministries and other central executive bodies of regulatory legal acts according to this Law.
