About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About the status and social protection of the citizens injured with the Chernobyl catastrophic crash" concerning providing with sanatorium permits

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Bring in the Law of Ukraine "About the status and social protection of citizens which suffered as a result of the Chernobyl catastrophic crash" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1992, No. 13, of Art. 178 with subsequent changes) such changes:

1. To state item 4 of part one of Article 20 in such edition:

"4) extraordinary annual free providing with sanatornokurortny permits by provision of the annual monetary assistance for compensation of cost of permits through non-cash transfer to sanatorium institutions which have the license for carrying out economic activity on medical practice, for provision of services from sanatorium treatment or receipt at will of monetary compensation in the amount of average cost of the permit in Ukraine;

the right of the free choice of sanatorium institution of the corresponding profile or institution of rest which have the license for carrying out economic activity on medical practice, and, at will, implementation of surcharge for provision of additional services at the expense of own means in case of insufficiency of the amount of the annual monetary assistance for compensation of cost of permits to sanatorium treatment or rest in the chosen institution. Sanatorium institutions irrespective of pattern of ownership shall provide sanatorium and improving services by clearing settlements.

The procedure for provision of the annual monetary assistance and implementation of surcharges for the account of own means, payments of monetary compensation in the amount of average cost of the permit in Ukraine is established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The extent of the annual monetary assistance, the annual extent of average cost of the permit in Ukraine are determined by the law on the Government budget of Ukraine for the corresponding year".
