The government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan which are hereinafter referred to as by "Parties" for the purpose of further development of friendship between the states of the Parties, legal settlement of trips of their citizens, in view of provisions and the principles of the Contract on eternal friendship between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Kazakhstan of April 8, 1997, wishing to create favorable conditions for stay of citizens of the state of one Party in the territory of the state of other Party, agreed as follows:
The citizens of the state of one Party who are temporarily staying in the territory of the state of other Party shall be registered in authorized body, according to the national legal system of the state of stay. Registration of citizens of one Party is made for the term which is not exceeding 90 days from the moment of crossing of frontier of the state of the Party of entrance and can be extended according to the national legal system of the state of this Party, for the same term.
Authorized bodies on implementation of this agreement are:
from the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic - the Public registration service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, from the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan - the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Citizens of the state of one Party drive, leave and follow transit across the territory of other Party through the check points on borders of the states of the Parties which are dug out for the international message.
Citizens of the state of one Party drive (leave) on the territory of the state of other Party according to the following valid documents.
