About modification and amendments in some legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with further reforming of judicial system of law

Article 1. In part one of article 28 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan of December 9, 1992 N 746-XII "About prosecutor's office" (in edition of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan of August 29, 2001 N 257-II) (Sheets of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2001, N 9-10, Art. 168; 2003, N 5, Art. 67; 2005, N 1, Art. 18; Sheets of chambers of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2007, N 6, Art. 249; 2008, N 9, Art. 487, N 12, Art. 636; 2011, N 4, of the Art. 101) to make the following changes:

to state the paragraph of the eighth in the following edition:

"prolongs the term of pretrial investigation, petitions before court for prolongation of term of detention as measure of restraint and stay of the person accused in medical institution";

the twelfth to state the paragraph in the following edition:

"authorizes in the cases provided by the law, production of investigative actions petitions before court or agrees to the petition: about application of measure of restraint in the form of detention, about discharge of the person accused from position, about the placement of person to medical institution; petitions before court for refusal in initiation of legal proceedings or for the termination of criminal case based on the act of amnesty".
