About introduction of amendments to the Federal law "About Magistrate Judges in the Russian Federation"

1) in Article 6:

Not later than six months before the expiration of powers of the magistrate judge, and in case of early termination of powers of the magistrate judge - not later than in ten days after the opening day of vacancy of the magistrate judge appears about discovery of vacancy of the magistrate judge in mass media with indication of time and the place of reception of applications from applicants for position of the magistrate judge, and also time and the place of consideration of the arrived statements. At the same time the term of office of the reappointed (elected) magistrate judge begins not earlier than the day following behind day of the termination of powers of the acting magistrate judge.";

2) in Article 8:

a) add Item 1 with words ", taking into account requirements of this Article";

b) add with Item 1.1 of the following content:

"1.1. Day of the termination of powers of the magistrate judge is:

1) the last day of month in which the term of office of the magistrate judge expires;

2) the last day of month in which the magistrate judge reaches age limit of continuance in office of the magistrate judge;

3) the next day after day of entry into force of the decision of qualification board of judges on early termination of powers of the magistrate judge.".
