About introduction of amendments to the Criminal code of Ukraine concerning strengthening of responsibility for counterfeit of brands of the excise duty

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Bring in the Criminal code of Ukraine (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2001 No. 25-26, of the Art. 131) the following changes:

1. The first and second Article 199 to state the name, parts in such edition:

"Article 199. Production, storage, acquisition, transportation, transfer, import to Ukraine for the purpose of use in case of sales of goods, it is sold or sale of counterfeit money, government securities, tickets of the state lottery, brands of the excise duty or holographic protective elements

are punished by imprisonment for a period of five up to ten years with confiscation of property".

II. Final provisions
