About approval of Industrial safety rules in operating time in chemical laboratories

According to article 28 of the Law of Ukraine "About labor protection", the subitem 41 of item 4 of the Regulations on the Ministry of emergency situations of Ukraine approved by the Presidential decree of Ukraine of April 6, 2011 No. 402, I ORDER:

1. Approve Industrial safety rules in operating time in chemical laboratories which are applied.

2. From the date of entry into force of this order to consider such which are not applied in the territory of Ukraine the Basic rules of safe work in chemical laboratories approved by the Ministry of the chemical industry of the USSR of July 27, 1977.

3. To public service of mountain supervision and industrial safety of Ukraine (Hokhotva O. I.) in accordance with the established procedure:

3.1. Provide submission of this order on state registration in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.

3.2. Enter the order in the State register of regulatory legal acts concerning labor protection.

4. This order becomes effective from the date of its official publication.

5. To impose control over the implementation of this order on the Chairman of Public service of mountain supervision and industrial safety of Ukraine Hokhotva O. I.

Industrial safety rules in operating time in chemical laboratories

I. Scope

1.1. These rules extend to subjects of managing irrespective of patterns of ownership and legal form which activities are connected with development of chemicals and chemical products, rubber and plastic products, other nonmetallic mineral products, collection, processing and waste disposal, recovery of materials, carrying out research and development in industry of natural and technical science, higher educational and highest professional educational institutions in case of performance of works in chemical laboratories.

1.2. These rules establish requirements of labor protection in case of performance of works in chemical laboratories.

1.3. These rules are obligatory for the employers and workers performing works in chemical laboratories.

ІІ. Determination of terms

2.1. In these rules terms are used in the values determined by the Law of Ukraine "About labor protection", the Technical regulation of safety of the equipment which works under pressure approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of January 19, 2011 No. 35, DSTU 2293-99 "Labor protection. Terms and determinations of the basic concepts", DSTU 2272:2006 "Fire safety. Terms and determinations of the basic concepts", GOST 18322-78 "System of maintenance and repair of equipment. DSTU ISO - state standard through which the European standard of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is implemented;

SIZ - individual protection equipment;

LVZh - flammable liquids;

NAPB - the regulatory legal act concerning fire safety;
