About modification and amendments in the Instruction about procedure for creation and submission by banks of the report on cash statistics

According to articles 11 and 72 of the Law No. 548-XIII of July 21, 1995 on National Bank of Moldova (Monitorul Oficial al Republicii Moldova, 1995, No. 56-57, the Art. 624), with subsequent changes and amendments, Articles 33, 37 and 40 Laws on financial institutions No. 550-XIII of the July 21, 1995 (republished in Monitorul Oficial al Republicii Moldova, 2011, No. 78-81, by the Art. 199) with subsequent changes and amendments, and also in view of provisions of the Chart of accounts of the financial accounting in licensed banks of the Republic of Moldova approved by the Resolution of Administrative board of National Bank of Moldova No. 15 of March 26, 1997 (Monitorul Oficial al Republicii Moldova, 1997, No. 33-34, the Art. 54), with subsequent changes and amendments, the Administrative board of National Bank of Moldova DECIDES:

1. In the Instruction about procedure for creation and submission by banks of the report on cash statistics approved by the Resolution of Administrative board of National Bank of Moldova No. 255 of November 17, 2011 (Monitorul Oficial al Republicii Moldova, 2011, No. 206-215, of the Art. 1833), to make the following changes and additions:

1) In Item 1 of Chapter I, after the text "on monetary statistics" to add the text "in compliance with appendices";

2) In Item 2 of Chapter I, the subitem 1) the text "the cash balance includes assets and liabilities of banks" to exclude;

3) In Item 3 of Chapter I:

a) The subitem 1), b) state in the following edition:

"b) Banks and other financial institutions - the legal entities by the nature of the activities accepting deposits or their equivalents and using these means fully or partially for loan granting or for investment at own expense and on the risk (according to Art. 2 of the Law on National Bank of Moldova No. 548-XIII of July 21, 1995).";
