About introduction of joint control at check points
The department of the organization of customs control and registration analyzes materials of working meetings of administrative board of adjacent customs of Ukraine and the Russian Federation which are held according to schedules of working meetings on I and II half-year 2012.
On analysis results of questions which are considered during working meetings and for the purpose of forming of single line item of customs authorities of Ukraine concerning introduction of joint control at check points through the Ukrainian-Russian frontier we inform.
According to competence of executive bodies of Ukraine normative ensuring introduction of joint control at check points through frontier is assigned to Administration of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
On October 18, 2011 during the 2nd Interregional economic forum the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Russian Federation on cooperation is signed during implementation of joint control of persons, vehicles and goods through the Ukrainian-Russian frontier (further - the Agreement).
The Agreement is ratified by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine 13.01.2012 according to the Law of Ukraine No. 4339-VI; official information on ratification of the Agreement the Russian side condition in State Customs Service of Ukraine is absent on 08.11.2012.
The order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 785-r approves of 17.10.2012 the Protocol between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Russian Federation on introduction of amendments to the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Russian Federation about cooperation during implementation of joint control of persons, vehicles and goods on ukrainskorossiysky frontier prepared by the Ukrainian side and also the Chairman of the State Border Service of Ukraine Litvin Nikolay Mikhaylovich is authorized to sign the specified Protocol. According to the Protocol operation of the mentioned Agreement will extend to check points for ferry connection.
