About modification of Rules of execution of freight carriage documents on transportation by sea transport
According to Articles 3 and 144 of the Maritime Code of Ukraine, subitem 4.9.50 of subitem 4.9 of item 4 of the Regulations on the Ministry of infrastructure of Ukraine approved by the Presidential decree of Ukraine of May 12, 2011 No. 581, I ORDER:
1. Bring in the Rules of execution of freight carriage documents on transportation by sea transport approved by the order of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Ukraine of December 13, 2004 No. 1098, such changes registered in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on December 28, 2004 for No. 1657/10256,:
1.1. Add Chapter 1 with Item 1.4 of such content:
"1.4. The procedure for provision of administration of seaport of the processed freight carriage documents on transportation by sea transport is established according to the legislation.".
1.2. Items 3. 3.3 Chapters 3 to state 2, in such edition:
"3.2. The specified forms are filled in with accurate letters and figures with use of high-quality printed materials. Correction of mistake in the freight carriage document is performed by person who filled it, by deletion of the wrong text and/or figure and writing of the correct text and/or figures which is confirmed by the signature of this person and is certified by seal.
3.3. Execution of freight carriage documents with use of electronic information systems and observance of requirements of the legislation on electronic document management is allowed. In that case paper document management is not performed. The format of electronic carriage documents, and also procedure for their address in the territory of seaport are determined jointly by administration of seaport and the interested executive bodies and subjects of managing which carry out the activities in the territory of seaport (by their consent).".
