1. This Procedure determines the mechanism of creation of safety stock of natural gas (further - safety stock).
2. The safety stock is created by the gas supplying company (farther the supplier) in the amount of 10 percent of contractual quarter scopes of supply of natural gas to consumers at the expense of own or raised funds, except amounts of its use on own requirements.
For the guaranteed suppliers of natural gas determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine safety stock for requirements satisfaction of their consumers natural gas which is pumped the National Joint Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine in underground gas storages is considered.
3. Creation of safety stock is performed by pumping of natural gas in natural form in underground gas storages and/or purchases of natural gas at other owners who store appropriate resources of gas in underground gas storages.
4. The safety stock is stored on the conditions determined according to the standard agreement on storage (pumping, storage, selection) of natural gas approved by NKRE.
