About requirements to reproduction of images of banknotes and coins of National Bank of the Republic of Belarus

Based on the paragraph of the forty fifth of Article 26 and part one of article 39 of the Bank code of the Republic of Belarus and in pursuance of the paragraph of third of article 4 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of July 13, 2012 "About entering of amendments and changes into the Bank code of the Republic of Belarus" the Board of National Bank of the Republic of Belarus DECIDES:

1. Establish the following requirements to reproduction of the images of the banknotes and coins of National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (further - banknotes and coins) which are valid legal means of payment, including withdrawn and withdrawn from circulation, but subjects to exchange:

1.1. reproduction of images of banknotes of National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (further - banknotes) can be made on any material and non-material carriers;

1.2. in case of unilateral reproduction of images of banknotes the size of copies shall constitute less than 75 percent or more than 125 percent of the size of authentic banknote;

1.3. in case of bilateral reproduction of images of banknotes the size of copies shall constitute less than 50 percent or more than 200 percent of the size of authentic banknote;

1.4. in case of reproduction of separate fragments of images of banknotes such fragments shall not be represented against the background of, reminding authentic banknote. The size of fragments shall be less than 1/3 sizes of authentic banknote. Fragments shall be selected so that from them it was impossible to constitute (to stick together) the complete image of banknote;

1.5. in case of reproduction of images of banknotes on electronic media if the digital image of banknote is public, such image shall meet the following criteria:

permission of the image shall not exceed 72 dots per inch;
