About modification of the Regulations on the organization and functioning of Economic council in case of the Prime Minister approved by the Order of the Government No. 631 of August 22, 2011.

The government DECIDES:

In the Regulations on the organization and functioning of Economic council in case of the Prime Minister approved by the Order of the Government No. 631 of August 22, 2011. (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2011, Art. No. 139-145, 701), to make the following changes:

1) in Item 1 the offer "Council is created on effective period of the mandate of the Government and disbanded after the term of its action." to exclude;

2) the subitem b) item 4 to state in the following edition:

"b) promotes development of the concept of the Government on some processes of reform";

"5. Members of council are appointed the Prime Minister from among representatives of business environment, associations of entrepreneurs, scientific community, the international organizations operating in the field of reforms of business environment and organizations of the state. The structure of Council affirms the order of the Prime Minister, after receipt of consent of persons invited by the Prime Minister";

in Item 6:

a) the offer "Effective period of the mandate of the member of council is equal to effective period of the mandate of the Government" to exclude;

b) the subitem c) to state in the following edition:

"c) according to the proposal of the Prime Minister";

Items 8-15 to state 4) in the following edition:

"8. Management of Council is performed by the Prime Minister.

9. The secretariat of Council reports on the Prime Minister and has the following obligations:

a) gives support to Council in the analysis of the private situations connected with business environment in the country for the purpose of acceptance of documentary and well reasoned decisions by Council;

b) formulates and represents offers and recommendations about the measures directed to improvement of business environment and attraction of direct foreign investments;
