About measures for further enhancement of procedure for appointment and payment of social benefits

For the purpose of strengthening of targeting of the public assistance to families with minor children and to needy families, the Cabinet of Ministers decides increases in role and responsibility of self-government institutions of citizens in implementation of measures for social protection of the population in the conditions of strong growth of real incomes and welfare of the population of the republic:

1. Agree with the offer of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the population, the Ministry of Health, Republican public charity foundation "Makhalla", Ministry of Economics and Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan on further enhancement of procedure for appointment and payment of social benefits and financial support to the needy families providing:

preserving the operating sizes and payment due dates of benefit to mothers on child care before achievement of age of two years and financial support by it to needy families, with increase in targeting of payment of social benefits;

decrease in the maximum age of the children considered in case of purpose of benefit to families with minor children up to 14 years.

2. Ceased to be valid according to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of 13.09.2018 No. 731

3. To the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the population together with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan to develop and introduce to the Cabinet of Ministers the draft of the relevant government decision of the Republic of Uzbekistan about procedure for appointment and payment of social benefits and financial support to needy families in a month, having provided in it:
