- being guided by the Treaty of friendship and cooperation between Kyrgyzskoi the Republic and Ukraine of June 19, 1996,

- attaching importance to effective implementation of top-level arrangements in political, economic, trade, scientific and technical, cultural and humanitarian and other areas of cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Ukraine,

- considering development of cooperation within the Commonwealth of Independent States among priorities of foreign policy of two states,

- considering necessary closely to interact in the field of foreign policy, including within the UN, OSCE and in other international formats,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties regularly hold negotiations and consultations at the level of Ministers of Foreign Affairs and other levels on topical issues of the Kyrgyz-Ukrainian relations and the international subject.

Subject of consultations are, first of all:

- questions of further development and deepening of bilateral cooperation in political, economic, trade, nauchnotekhnichesky, cultural and humanitarian and other areas, performed both on state, and at other levels;

- questions of interaction within the Commonwealth of Independent States;

- main international problems, in particular questions of strengthening of the world and international security;

- questions of interaction within the UN and other international organizations which are of mutual interest, including questions of the agenda of session of the United Nations General Assembly, problem of adaptation of the UN and its Charter to new world realities, reform of the Security Council;

- approaches of the Parties to cooperation with Euro-Atlantic structures, European and Central Asian regional organizations;

- questions of fight against the international terrorism, extremism, transnational organized crime, arms trafficking and drugs;
