Regulations on implementation of federal state control (supervision) in the field of fishery and preserving water biological resources

1. This Provision establishes procedure of federal state control (supervision) in the field of fishery and preserving water biological resources (further - the state control).

2. This Provision does not extend on:

a) measures for the state control in the field of protection of marine biological resources, including measures for control of the courts which are performing fishery concerning cross-border and far migrating species of fish in the high sea;

b) the state control (supervision) in the field of fishery and preserving water biological resources in especially protected natural territories of federal importance.

3. The state control is exercised by Federal Agency for Fishery and its territorial authorities.

4. The state control is exercised in shape:

a) conducting checks of public authorities, local government bodies, legal entities, their heads and other officials, individual entrepreneurs, their authorized representatives (further - legal entities, individual entrepreneurs) and citizens;
