The Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Supreme Council of the Republic of Belarus which are referred to as further with the Parties

confirming the aspiration to assist formation of qualitatively new stage in development of integration between both states,

relying on will of the people to further rapprochement, aiming to promote development of cooperation in political, economic, humanitarian, legal and other areas,

the granted desires to promote realization of the common goals and tasks containing in the Agreement on formation of community of Russia and Belarus of April 2, 1996 (further - the Agreement),

confirming need of closer inter-parliamentary collaboration,

expressing the intention and from now on actively to participate in work of Inter-parliamentary Assembly of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States,

agreed as follows:

Article 1.

According to article 10 of the Agreement of the Party decided to create the Parliamentary Meeting of Community of Russia and Belarus (further - the Parliamentary Meeting) as permanent body for discussion and the solution of the questions which are of mutual interest.

Article 2.

The parliamentary Meeting is created of equal number of representatives - on 25 parliamentarians from each Party.

Members of Parliamentary Meeting are delegated, and also respond the Parties according to regulations and decisions of the Parties.

Article 3.

The session of Parliamentary Meeting is competent if at least two thirds of parliamentarians of each of the Parties participate in its work.

Each member of Parliamentary Meeting has one voice.

Decisions of the Parliamentary Meeting are made by the qualified majority at least three quarters of voices of number of the members participating in the session of Parliamentary Meeting.
