About entering of amendment and change into the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About power industry"

Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About power industry" (the Erkin Too newspaper of February 12, 1997, No. 8) the following amendment and change:
1. Add Article 2 with the paragraph third the following content:
"The residential customer - the physical person using the electric power for domestic needs in accordance with the terms of the contract;".
2. To state part 2 of Article 15-1 in the following edition:
"2. The consumer of electricity makes payment on the rates operating for consumption according to indications of the individual counter, once in calendar month, or with use of electronic meters with prepaid card, or by introduction of advance payment of the electric power in accordance with the terms of the contract.
In the presence of advance payment the consumer receives the electric power on the rate operating at the time of introduction of advance payment.
For residential customers counters are established by the electric power supplier on a grant basis, except cases of breakdown of the counter by the consumer (except for production defect or low-quality installation).".
Article 2. This Law becomes effective after fifteen days from the date of official publication.
