Methodical recommendations concerning sampling of tobacco raw materials and samples of tobacco products

Introduction

Methodical recommendations about sampling of tobacco products and tests of tobacco raw materials are developed for use in work of divisions of customs authorities and expert divisions of the Central customs authority of laboratory researches and expert work. In methodical recommendations collected methods of sampling of tobacco products and tests of tobacco raw materials depending on type of products and raw materials, method and delivery conditions.

Main objective of research of tests and samples of goods is identification of goods and establishment of compliance of certain indicators (parameters) declared in documentation for customs clearance of goods.

For identification of tobacco products and tobacco raw materials for the purpose of their subsequent classification, according to UKT foreign trade activities, necessary condition is the correct sampling (samples) according to requirements of GOST, GSTU, other existing regulating documents and so forth.

Methodical recommendations are intended for officials of the customs authorities performing sampling (samples) and presenting them for carrying out researches in expert divisions of the Central customs authority of laboratory researches and expert work, and also officials of the expert divisions which are taking part in sampling (samples).

1.3.1 General terms and determinations

1.3.1.1 Batch - goods quantity, homogeneous on quality and the name, time made during the certain interval in the same conditions intended for the import/export which is drawn up by one document certifying quality and one GTD [1].
