Regulations on order of registration of mass media (TV and radio programs) in the Republic of Belarus
1.1. This Provision is developed according to the Law of the Republic of Belarus "About seal and other mass media" (further the Law) (Sheets of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Belarus N 12 (158) of April 25, 1995) and the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of August 27, 1996 N 568 "About order of registration, collections and the sizes of the registration fees of mass media in the Republic of Belarus" (further the Resolution) and establishes order of registration of mass media (TV and radio programs) in the Republic of Belarus.
1.2. Registration (re-registration) of all of TV and radio programs (further programs) in the Republic of Belarus is performed by the State Commission on Radio Frequencies (further GKRCh). GKRCh keeps the Register of TV and radio programs of the Republic of Belarus.
1.3. The application for registration is submitted by the founder of the program who is that according to Art. 8 of the Law or person authorized by it.
1.4. The founder sends the statement for registration (re-registration) in the State Commission on Radio Frequencies of the Republic of Belarus to the address: 220050, Minsk, Prospekt F.Skoriny, 10.
1.5. Registration of programs is made by the working device GKRCh. The program is considered to the founder of the registration certificate (part two of Art. 9 of the Law) registered from the date of issue. The founder shall report in writing in GKRCh about start date of release of the program.
For the founder the right to start release of the program within one year from the date of receipt of the registration certificate remains. In case of the omission of this term the registration certificate of the program is considered invalid (part three of Art. 9 of the Law).
1.6. The registration fee (re-registration) of programs it is levied in the sizes determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus.
