Questions of the State committee on television and broadcasting

For the purpose of increase in overall performance of electronic mass media the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus DECIDES:

1. Assign accomplishment of the following main objectives to the State committee on television and broadcasting:

creation of television and radio programs, their distribution in the territory of the Republic of Belarus and beyond its limits;

ensuring high professional level of teleradio programs, their salutary impact on processes of political and social and economic development of the republic, democratization of society;

participation in determination of strategy and main directions of development of interstate television and broadcasting.

2. Establish the number of employees of central office of the State committee on television and broadcasting 44 units (without personnel on servicing and protection of buildings) with the salary fund per year in the amount 320, of 9 million rubles, regional governing bodies of the specified Committee - 32 units with the salary fund per year in the amount 241, of 5 million rubles.

And its regional divisions to provide maintenance costs of central office of the State committee on television and broadcasting in limits of the assignments allocated for 1994.

3. Consider necessary to have in the State committee on television and broadcasting of three vice-chairmen of Committee and board as a part of 7 people.

4. Extend to employees of central office of the State committee on television and broadcasting the job grades and coefficients provided by the table of 1 appendix to the resolution of the State committee on work and social protection of the population of January 12, 1994 N 10.
