About fight against extremism
This Law determines legal and organizational basis of fight against extremism in the Republic of Tajikistan.
The purposes of this Law are:
protection of human rights and freedoms, bases of the constitutional system, ensuring integrity and safety of the Republic of Tajikistan;
realization of state policy in the field of fight against extremism;
providing the international obligations of the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of fight against extremism;
determination of legal and organizational basis of counteraction of extremist activities, establishment of responsibility for its implementation;
forming at the population of the republic of situation of intolerance to extremism;
identification, the prevention and suppression of extremist activities, elimination of the reasons and conditions generating extremism.
The legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan on fight against extremism is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan and consists of this Law, other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Tajikistan and the international legal acts recognized by Tajikistan.
