About creative specialists and the creative unions

Chapter I General provisions

Article 1. Purpose and sphere of regulation

(1) the Purpose of this law are creation of legal guarantees for providing the social rights of creative specialists of literature, art and journalism, and also regulation of the legal relationship connected with features of creation and activities of the creative unions - the Union of artists, the Union of architects, the Union of cinematographers, the Union of composers and musicologists, the Union of designers, the Union of journalists, the Union of national masters, the Union of musicians, the Theatrical union, the Writers' Union - and associations of the creative unions, for the benefit of preserving and development of traditions of literature, art and journalism.

(2) Regulation of the legal relationship connected with activities of creative specialists activities of the creative unions and associations of the creative unions is based on provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova, the Civil code of the Republic of Moldova, the Copyright law and the related rights, the Law on public associations and it is performed by this law, other regulations, and also charters of the creative unions and associations of the creative unions.

Article 2. Basic concepts

For the purposes of this law the following concepts are used:

creative activities in the field of literature, art and journalism (further - creative activities) - activities for creation, execution of literary works and art of all types and genres, for transfer from one language into another of works of art, by whatever method and in what the specified works were expressed to objective form;
