1. Features of luggage transport and cargo baggage in the international railway service are determined by the Agreement on the international passenger traffic from 01.11.1951/with changes / (dalshesoglasheniye). Ukraine joined the Agreement the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 03.04.1993 No. 246 "About agreements of rather international railway freight and passenger traffic".

By the paragraph the first article 2 of the Agreement it is determined that "transportations of passengers, baggage and tovarobagazh between the countries which railroads participate in this agreement are made on conditions and on the carriage documents established by this agreement on the rates applied by them".

According to paragraphs 4, of the 5th article 16 of the Agreement "in confirmation of acceptance of baggage to transportation the luggage receipt which shall contain the following specification is issued to the passenger:

3) number of the train and date of departure;
