About modification and amendments in some legal acts

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Code about elections No. 1381-XIII of November 21, 1997 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 1997, No. 81, of the Art. 667), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes and additions:

1. To add Article 1 after the concept "constituency" with the following concepts:

"the national district - the constituency of national level in which elections of deputies of Parliament on the basis of pro rata vote according to party lists will be organized and held;

the single-candidate district - the constituency in which single-candidate elections of the deputy of Parliament on the basis of majority vote will be organized and held;".

2. In Article 4:
