About modification and amendments in some legal acts
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. - In the Law on protection of monuments No. 1530-XII of June 22, 1993 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2010, No. 15-17, of the Art. 23), with subsequent changes to make the following changes and additions:
1. Item b) parts (3) Article 1 after words "group constructions," to add with the words "including building zones".
2. State Article 16 in the following edition:
"Art. 16. - (1) For work on identification, studying, development, rescuing, protection, preservation and restoration of monuments on scientific basis state bodies on protection of monuments shall create scientific councils and the commissions, to consult with specialists (lawyers, museum workers, restorers), being guided by the corresponding conclusions in case of creation of the List of monuments, and also in case of inclusion of monuments in this List.
(2) Techniques, standard rates and rules of protection of monuments, projects of interventions in monuments history, arts and architecture and their protective zones, in the building zones having the status of monument affirm according to stages of works (the outline sketch, the working project) the Ministry of Culture on the basis of the conclusion of National council on historical monuments (further - Council).
(3) Council is the specialized scientific and methodical body in the field of the state protection of historical monuments acting under the Ministry of Culture on the basis of the provision approved by the Government.
(4) the persons (the authorized specialists and experts) from the government and non-governmental organizations performing authorized activities in the field, the ministries appointed to certain period by the order of the Minister of Cultural Affairs according to the offer of specialized department having working experience in protection of historical monuments are part of Council.
(5) Compensation of members of council is performed according to the existing regulations within the means provided in the government budget for the Ministry of Culture.".
